2019: Mabilong Young Weavers Scholarship

In 2019, we began a scholarship program to assist youth in their education with the primary purpose of learning the art of laga. It prepares the next generation of weavers to continue the practice and promote its value in its original home in Mabilong. We hope this effort encourages the weavers to pass their tradition to their children.
